DOG SHOW!!

Now before you get too excited, this is not about the great SNL skit you may think it's about. No really I wanted to tell about how my husband is awesome because last weekend we were sitting around trying to find something good to watch on tv. As he scrolled through the listings I said "oh I found something that looks good". It was the 2006 AKC Dog Show. I really enjoy watching dog shows and although Nic is not too fond of them he turned on the show and proceeded to watch it with me for the next 3 hours!! He is so great! It was slightly disappointing however because even after those 3 hours the show still wasn't over. It continued on to the next night for another 3 hours. I did not make him watch it again the next night, although since he knew my favorite dog group (the terrier group) was on that night he set up the little tv we have in the living room so that I could watch it while I did my workout! Sadly even after all that I did not get to see the finale when the chose the best dog of 2006. I'm somwhat glad about that though because they really tend to choose some ugly dogs for the winners! This year the winnder actually was cute, He was an Alaskan Malamute named Costello here he is....

So there you have it...I'm a geek who can sit for 3 hours and watch dog prance around a blue carpet while old ladies check them out to see if they are just right and I have the greatest husband in the world who loves me and supports my dorkiness no matter what!
